Dr. Suzanne Riffel

Dr. Suzanne Riffel is an experienced optometrist with over 30 years of full‑scope clinical practice. A graduate of Pacific University College of Optometry, she has built a diverse career that includes serving as the lead optometrist in a teaching‑hospital ophthalmology practice in Denver, working extensively in high‑volume refractive surgery settings, and owning her own full‑scope practice for many years.

She enjoys all aspects of primary eye care and has a special interest in diagnosing and treating binocular vision disorders, helping patients improve comfort, efficiency, and overall visual performance. Dr. Riffel values building long‑term relationships with families and creating a welcoming, personalized experience for patients of all ages.

After relocating from Las Vegas, Nevada, to Athens, she now enjoys traveling, attending sporting events, and taking long walks with her golden retriever, Sage. She and her husband are proud parents of a University of Georgia student, making Athens feel even more like home.
